— EXPLORING FREIBURG —

For travelers looking to visit the beautiful
Black Forest area, the famous university
town of Freiburg is a great destination for
their homebase. Just 2.5 hours from Stuttgart, or 4.5 hours from Munich by car, the Black Forest can be explored either on a self-drive
itinerary or with private transfers and tours.

Home to a reconstructed medieval old town,
beer gardens, cobblestone streets, and the city’s famous “bachle”. Freiburg has plenty
to discover.

Travelers can also venture out
of town on a scenic hike through the nearby woods. You can take a ride on the Schlossbergbahn cable car. Enjoy the lookout tower on Schlossberg
Mountain for beautiful views of the city. In addition, include the city cathedral’s iconic spire.

other highlights, like the spa town of Baden-Baden, which is also en route
to Stuttgart. Only an hour drive from Freiburg, Baden-Baden is famous
